Due to expansion of the Social Infrastructure Design teamWe are looking for a Document Controller. The role will be based in Kent however travel to the head office in Warrington once a month will be expected.
As Document Controller, you will:
Manage project documentation- organising, storing, and distributing documents efficiently.
Administer the Document Management System (DMS)-setting up workflows, managing access, and ensuring data security.
Ensure compliance-maintaining records to meet company, client, and regulatory standards.
Support the project team-assisting with document formatting, templates, and best practices.
Monitor version control-ensuring everyone works from the latest, most accurate documents.
Enhance processes-identifying ways to improve efficiency and implement best practices.
Experience: Previous experience in document control within construction, engineering, or similar industries. EDMS, SharePoint and Aconex, experience with these platforms is preferred but not mandatory.
Technical Skills: Proficient in document management systems (Aconex, SharePoint, Asite) and MS Office.
Organisation & Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple tasks with precision.
Communication & Problem-Solving: Strong ability to liaise with teams and troubleshoot document issues.
